The first page of my webcomic, 'the Heart of Doordedam' is now online, I am still testing and experimenting with the design, but you can already read it if you speak the dutch language.

Dutch is my native language, I am translating the comic to english, but some words I find hard to translate, such as 'bokkepootjes'. Bokkepootjes are a dutch cookie, but the word also translates to the red devils, their distinguishing goatlegs.

In other news. I now have a facebook and a youtube channel. My first two social media channels. More will follow, mostly dedicated to the Harlequin Cat. I post there the sketches and drawings I make when I'm not working behind the computer on facebook, like my comic pages in ink-form. If you like you can subscibe. Find the links down below.

I Don’t like it, but here I go!

Social Media.
There is no denying it, the landscape of our society has changed, and I have to change with it, or disappear.

So, my website is going to change again. The changes are going to come with my webcomic and with the social media that I will be applying to.

The dark as night mystical wizard apprentice is still here, on this site in the future, but you will have to look for her.
Because my website will be designed around my upcoming comic. The Farao Who Visits Doordedam.

I am going to make a lighthearted, open sourced and clearly defined website for the Farao story. It has to be, or it wont come true.
I strive to make it, in two languages. A Dutch and an  English version.
My Daily Binky calendar will serve as a planner, both to myself and to you, who visits my website. 

I am also looking for economical support to finance my work, I have to believe I am that good, and ask for sponsoring.
I plan to upload many drawings, paintings and sketches and I am going to do videos of me making the actual comic, and more, growing my presence on the world wide web, and contacting people. I look forward to that.

A weekly updating and fully realized comic, complete with a beginning, a middle and an end is coming. If all goes accordingly, the next month will feature the first page, and from there on out I will be updating my website on a regular weekly basis. 

And, I will be on social media.

Though my opinion of social media hasn’t changed, I will say this;
I cannot let my petty needs, wants, likes and dislikes dictate me, I truly thought there was a way for me to live without social media. But in the current condition, the condition that I am in now, I see no other choice. I have to change.

You will have me there.

But before I go, I would like to state, we don’t need social media to be true, let this be known. I can not recommend having no social media, enough, to everybody. Peace and quiet times, everybody needs. This time was given to me, and for that I am very grateful. With it I created the universe of the Harlequin Cat. A universe that inhabits at least a handful of little planets, a great many characters and allot of stories.

Time to change the system. Surf ’s up!
